Learn More About Coffee to Caffeine Ratio

Many have wondered how much caffeine is in a cup of coffee. When it comes to coffee it is not as cut and dry as caffeine to coffee content. To determine the amount of caffeine you will get in a cup of coffee the strength, bean and method of preparation all contribute significantly to how much caffeine is actually consumed. Most people are unaware that the lighter the coffee (the lighter the bean) the higher caffeine content. Most people specifically buy a light or medium blend coffee thinking that light or medium reflects the caffeine content when in reality it does not. The fact that it is lighter or medium reflects the taste and roasting method not the caffeine content in fact it has the highest. The more the bean roasts the more caffeine is extracted. Espresso coffee is often avoided for it"s strong taste and many think that means higher caffeine but in reality espresso coffee has less caffeine then the regular coffee found in the supermarkets. Brewed Coffee has between 80mg-135mg in the average 7oz cup Drip Coffee has between 115mg- 175mh in the average 7oz cup Espresso (average serving 1.5 ò€“ 2oz) has 100mg Instant Coffee has between 65-100mg in a 7oz cup Decaf brewed and Instant have between 2-4 mg of caffeine. Sweet Treats Perfect for the Lunchbox, Oatmeal Raisin Cinnamon Cookies
One of the easiest things to learn in the kitchen is baking cookies.÷  Most of us learned to bake cookies as kids.÷  I vividly remember my mother allowing me to "help" her...God bless her for her patience...bake cookies.÷  I was so excited when I was allowed to take on the project on my own.÷  I remember coming home from a junior high home economics class with my chocolate chip cookie recipe in hand.÷  I couldn"t wait to tell her how excited I was to make these for my family.÷  She looked at my recipe and asked if I was planning to do that now.÷  Of course I was.÷  She looked around her perfectly clean kitchen, I realized later that she had just cleaned the kitchen and mopped the floor, and told me I should get right to it.÷  Then she told me I needed to remember I would have to clean up my mess.÷  (Treat her kindly for me, God.÷  She deserves it!)÷  So have patience with your youngsters and get them in the kitchen and let them help you÷ make these cookies.÷  Someday you will be gone, but they will always have the memories of these times spent with you...even when they are grandparents themselves!
