Low Carb Cheesecake Recipe

One of the most popular desserts today is strawberry cheesecakes. With a low carb strawberry cheesecake, you can still enjoy your favorite dessert even while you are on a diet. Here is a recipe for a cheese cake that will fit those people who are advised to eat fewer carbohydrates. First step would be to gather all the required ingredients for the cheese cake. In making the base of the cake, what you will need are 2/3 cup of finely ground nuts, Ò¼ cup of margarine, Ò¾ cup of almond flour and 1 and Ò¼ cups of Splenda. Mix all the ingredients together using your hands. Make sure your hands are clean to avoid any possible food contamination and health threats to occur. After mixing the ingredients for the base, firmly pack and press then into the base of your cheese cake pan. See to it that the bottom of the pan is covered evenly. After preparing the base for the cake, the next step to do is to prepare the filling. You will be needing 24 ounce of softened cream cheese, 1 and Ò¼ cups of Splenda, 4 large eggs, a cup of thick whipping cream, one teaspoon of sugar free extract vanilla, and Ò½ teaspoon of almond extract. In a large bowl, mix the Splenda and the cream cheese together. Then start adding one egg at a time while continuing to beat the mixture. Do this until desired smoothness of the mixture is achieved. Mix in the remaining ingredients to the first mixture you have. This will be your low carb filling. After blending the ingredients, pour it down on the pan you have made earlier. Place the pan on the oven which is at 350 degrees F. bake it for an hour. After an hour of baking, leave the cake in the oven with the door closed and the oven turned off for an additional one hour. After the second hour, remove the cheese cake from the oven and place it on the refrigerator for it to cool while you will prepare for the topping of your low carb cheesecake. Since you are doing a strawberry cheesecake, your toppings will be of course made from strawberries. Select those berries with low carb also and sprinkle them with the nuts. After sprinkling it, get your cheesecake from the freezer and place in a serving place. Top it with your strawberries with nuts and enjoy the delicious taste of it.
