What goes into your beer?

The basic ingredients used in the brewing of beer are quite simple. They are: ò€¢ Water ò€“ Even if you are trying to save water by drinking more beer, you do need it for brewing the bubbly. ò€¢ Starch ò€“ Use malt, dextrose, corn syrup or a combination of all these for a better brew. ò€¢ Hops ò€“ No jumping around please. The flowers of the hops plant are used to flavour the beer. The unique taste of your beer is due to these flowers. ò€¢ Yeast ò€“ Rise and bubble! Yeast is, of course, necessary for the fermentation, which is the backbone of beer brewing. ò€¢ Finings ò€“ The final touch, so to say. Finings or clarifying agents are used to precipitate the substances that cloud the drink. This makes the beer appear bright and clean. Apart from these ingredients, you will also need the equipment for the brewing. This consists of fermenter fittings, hydrometer and bottling equipment with a capper. One of the most popular ultra light beers in Europe is Schlossgold, originating in Austria, which tastes so beautifully fresh and has the quality of a full-strength beer. Whilst the beer does contain 0.4 percent of alcohol, it is not liquor and is considered a non-alcoholic drink by most of the authorities. Therefore, Schlossgold non-alcoholic beer is a potential product for all retailers, small or large, without a liquor licence. You can also drink and drive with Schlossgold. It is currently available in Woolworthò€™s supermarkets in NSW, QLD and VIC and in clubs. Konrad Beverages is a Sydney-based company that represents various international drinks and brands in Australia. Apart from representing Schlossgold low alcohol beer, they also sell a power drink called ò€˜Powerkingò€™ from Holland, which is available in three flavours (Classic, Cranberry and Sugar Free) and a natural mineral water from Slovakia. The range contains a first in Australia; the natural mountain mineral waters are mixed with herbs and flowers. There are seven different flavours: Dandelion, Sage, Wild Thyme, Lemon Balm, Sparkling, Low and Still Mineral Waters. Fish 'n Chips Served with a Twist
In many countries, fish "n chips has been a common dish made of deep-fried fish dipped in a batter mixture with cut fries and an accompanying sauce that many people enjoy. But do you know that this same dish is served differently in different countries?  For instance, in the United States, fish "n chips is often served with thinner-cut fries or what we call home fries or steak fries.  At the same time, it comes with tartar sauce or ketchup with mustard.  And in some areas in this country such as Chicago and Detroit, fish "n chips is served together with potato salad or macaroni salad and coleslaw as this dish is pretty popular for Catholics during Lenten season where their religious traditions mandate them not to eat meat on Fridays.
